Memory’s Door ~ Review

Memory’s Door is the sequel to Soul’s Gate. The books are not just amusing tales, but written with lessons woven, smartly within, that we may learn as we read. I am not one who is a fan of fiction works typically but these have much within their pages that leaves me deep in thought – engaging, and inspiring and eye opening too.

Spiritual battles abound; experience and be drawn in as the characters do battle for the Lord. Simply enthralling – this is a “edge of your seat” read.

There is much to learn within the pages of this novel however we must remember, as always, to line it all up against His word. Spiritual warfare is real; it is challenging and dark and difficult for many to understand. The theology in these pages did come into question for me a number of times however, keeping in mind this is a fiction account, it is a worthy read. One that encourages the practice of discernment as well.

Let all things be glorifying to God and lining up with His word, line by line and precept by precept… a little…there a little…..:-)

I would definitely recommend reading the first book in this series . I however if you want to truly enjoy these tales. Yes I am an OCD reader, and I can’t wait until the next installment! In the meantime, I’ll probably pick up more of his books. He’s definitely becoming one of my favorite authors. Here’s to wise reads!
