What’s in the Bible? Volume 10: Jesus is the Good News!

Do you know What’s in The Bible?

Its a fun chance to learn with Buck Denver and his friends. This time we are learning all about the New Testament!

Meet the four apostles Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and learn some amazing history facts; like how and why each apostle wrote their book in the Bible. There i so much to learn about the Gospel and it is ALL good news 🙂

So what is this all about? Silly songs and crazy looking puppets? There are two  25 minute episodes on this disc: God’s Perfect Timing and The Messiah Has Come. In God’s Perfect Timing, we learn about the 400 years between the Old and New Testaments.  We see how Jesus arrives too, and In The Messiah Has Come, we learn about the life and ministry of Jesus, his death and resurrection.

These are some pretty heavy topics for kids but I have to say I am always impressed with how well they are taught. And I admit there are some things I have learned from watching these myself. It’s fun and educational; lots of catchy tunes  (you will catch yourself singing these now and then).  It is so very engaging for all three of my children.

I am so very glad for these! Something we can all learn; no sugar coated gospel here. Even though it is for children it is amazing how they cover how awesome and “more than enough” Jesus is!

Our 3 and 5 year-old loved the coloring pages and they are free, downloadable; available from WhatsInTheBible.com.

2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV)  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
