Blogging through the Alphabet ~ F is for Favor

This is Week 6 of this series!  Here, F is for favor ~  not all have the favor of God. This favor is only for the elect, those children of the Most High God.  Do we realize how great that is? How much it means to be His favored ones?

Divine favor comes by only by God’s anointing. The Bible says

“The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil” (1 Peter 3:12).

As God’s child, we are promised so much! There are great thing coming for us if we continue on, seeing His commands, sharing truth and letting the love and light of the Lord flow from us.

“Prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts. (Malachi 3:10-12)”

Jesus said:

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).

May we continue to sow those seeds, going and preaching the Word with boldness and great expectation. Let us testify of those signs, wonders and miracles that follow those true believers. And let us exercise our faith, having no doubt, in all He has for us!
