My family was first introduced to CrossTimber – Name Meaning Gifts sometime last year where we received some beautiful, personalized name meaning gifts for each person in our family. From the time my kids were little (some still are) I would read the Bible to them, and insert their name into the passages. I wanted them to know that God wrote all of this, to them and for them. It is personal. What a difference that can make! Our name has always been something meant to show a bit of who we are and it has always been important to me, for my children to know, that their name is a beautiful and powerful thing. Carefully chosen, purposefully given.
Since this is a more personal item, it did take some effort on my part, to order. There were works of art to upload and a photo of baby girl – After completing all of the basic information there was the letter to write – What to say to her? I love words but am not always so good at them. This one took some time and some prayer. God gives wisdom and that He did. I wrote, what I believe, is a letter sent and blessed by the Lord, just for her. These do take about three weeks to receive once you place your order but trust me, this is definitely worth the wait!
From the very beginning, my daughter could tell, this was for her! It was sweet, she wished it was for her sister too (we may have to get another one of these for the other kids). She was spellbound watching, she saw “her rainbow picture” blowing about in the wind – we had to watch that part a couple times so she could be certain it really was HER rainbow. 🙂
We had to play this on my phone and everywhere we went my daughter had to show it to friends and strangers – quite a few I hope, are going to get their ow for their little ones. This is one of those precious things that we have to share! The giggles and grins from my daughter (every time) are proof of that! I wish I had better images to share that really captured how blessed she was by this.
We met Ben, the pencil, and prepared to blast off into outer space. What an adventure! We met the stars and heard the beautiful music they make.We learned about how God knows everyone, by name – A good name is to be chosen above great riches. We get to know friends Zeke, and Owl And Rescued the sheep. Such wonderful friends, we meet as we explore and learn all about the name Rachel 🙂

She adored Owl with his “cup of tea” and how pink Rescue was, with her cute lil bow. Each character has such a sweet and silly way about them – Unique and individual – super fun and loveable! This is her new favorite thing to watch! And she desperately wants one made for her sister too so I guess that’s on my to-do list now. 🙂
